Palo Einstein
Einstein Palo The awards are characteristic of Faculty of Science, awarded each year during the last day of exam period, with subsequent party. Awards are given to different categories according to what people vote for these lists (and quadruples in some cases) that remain after the proposals and vote in theaters.
The Early
all started in the year 94, the former headquarters of the Faculty of Sciences (Tristan Narvaja 1674, current Faculty of Psychology) where at that time was on a Student Center dance to raise funds for the construction of a canteen and a photocopier itself (as the faculty did not have within their facilities), being the first "big dance" held the power in those early days.
In 95, the dean of the faculty, Mario Wschebor, decides to throw a party where both were giving out prizes (the Faculty of Engineering and came to a few years by Chalk Awards), ideal occasion to celebrate IDB loan approval (IDB) for the construction of the present building of the faculty.
an easy task that the Student had to face, but with the support of the faculty and dean of the time, seemed possible. So was born in Palo Einstein's first (in the invitation said, valid for a pie and a beer), which had only three categories, Best Teacher, Best and Best Officer Course.
The party do not miss anyone, the presence of the capital's former mayor and current Minister Mariano Arana and former IDB President Enrique Iglesias distinguished this celebration, but were not the only, the very (and legendary) Cuarteto de Nos I play that day.
In 98 came the move to the current building. With more experience and continued awards they created new categories, and, until today's presenters were changed (one that Leandro was the first presenter of the awards), in those Einstein, Richard Farina presented the awards.
As the Gold Award, a distinction is someone or some in some cases, any merit in particular. Einstein's first gold was for the Gaba, an academic assistant of that and these times. Another of the Einstein Gold was Peter Sprechmann, the technician in natural resource management, Adrian Marquez, Ricardo Ehrlich and Rodrigo Arocena.
